City Council Vote on Food Truck Pilot Program in Downtown Greensboro

Greensboro City Council will vote this coming Tuesday, September 4th on a resolution to implement a one-month pilot program allowing food trucks to operate on Commerce Place in Downtown Greensboro. The proposed pilot program would be located on Commerce Place, near Elon Law School, during the lunch and dinner hours beginning October 1st. Between 4 and 6 trucks could operate at one time  and a lottery would be implemented to determine what trucks will operate at each time period.

We feel great about this step in the right direction!

For all those who have been wondering how to get involved – here is your time! Please consider coming to the meeting and showing your support. We certainly encourage anyone interested in speaking from the floor on behalf of this effort or just showing your face. Both are extremely helpful!
